DMCA – Copyright Policy

1. Our Commitment to Copyright Law
Fet.bio respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our platform, provided those claims are submitted according to the process described below.

2. Reporting Infringement – DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on Fet.bio infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing all of the following information to our designated agent:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered, a representative list);

  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its location on Fet.bio (e.g. the URL) with enough detail to allow us to locate it;

  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number and email address;

  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;

  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. Counter-Notice
If you believe that your material was removed in error, you may submit a DMCA counter-notice to our designated agent. The counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;

  2. Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which it appeared before removal;

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification;

  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the US, any judicial district in which Fet.bio may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.

4. Repeat Infringers
Fet.bio will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright.

5. Modifications
Fet.bio reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page.
