UK Supplemental Terms

UK Supplemental Terms of Service

These UK Supplemental Terms apply to Users who access Fet.bio from the United Kingdom ("UK Users"). They supplement and, where they conflict with the main Terms of Service, take precedence over them to the extent necessary to comply with UK law.

1. Regulatory Compliance
Fet.bio operates in the UK in compliance with applicable UK legislation, including the Online Safety Act 2023 ("OSA"), the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR"), and any other relevant UK legislation.

2. Online Safety Act 2023 (OSA)

  1. Illegal Content: We take proactive steps to prevent the publication of illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate images, and content that encourages violence or terrorism.

  2. Age Assurance: We implement proportionate age assurance measures to prevent children (persons under 18) from accessing adult content on Fet.bio, in accordance with our obligations under the OSA.

  3. User Reporting: UK Users have the right to report illegal or harmful content directly to us at test@fet.bio. We will acknowledge reports promptly and take appropriate action.

  4. Transparency: We provide information about our content moderation practices and safety measures in our Safety Centre.

3. Non-Consensual Intimate Images
The sharing of non-consensual intimate images ("NCII"), also known as "revenge pornography", is a criminal offence under the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (as amended) and the Online Safety Act 2023. Fet.bio strictly prohibits such content. Any content reported as NCII will be removed immediately and reported to the relevant UK authorities.

4. UK Data Protection
For UK Users, our processing of personal data is governed by the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our UK Data Protection Representative can be contacted at test@fet.bio. UK Users have the right to:

  1. Access their personal data;

  2. Rectify inaccurate personal data;

  3. Erase personal data (subject to applicable exceptions);

  4. Object to processing of personal data;

  5. Data portability;

  6. Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

5. Governing Law
For UK consumers, these UK Supplemental Terms and any disputes arising from your use of Fet.bio will be governed by English law. UK consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland (depending on where they reside).
